Collect, Fix, and Store

Collect Blood

Collect blood at clinical site & invert the vacutainer 10x.

Fix Sample

Transfer 2 mL of blood to Buffer 1; incubate at room temp for 15 mins.

Store in Freezer

Transfer 4.8 mL of sample to Buffer 2; store at -80°C or ship on dry ice.

TokuKit Stability Data

Mass Cytometry

Preservation data on our 41-Marker Standard Panel
15 Month Stability
Preserve population frequencies and protein expression levels from blood draw for 15 months (and counting).
  • R > 0.99
    Correlation of population frequencies
  • R = 0.95
    Correlation of functional marker subsets
  • R = 0.93
    Correlation of protein expression
Fixed like fresh by mass cytometry
Comparable population frequencies and protein expression levels between fresh and TokuKit-fixed blood samples.
  • R > 0.99
    Correlation of population frequencies
  • R = 0.92
    Correlation of functional marker subsets
  • R = 0.85
    Correlation of protein expression

  • R = 1
    Correlation of population frequencies
  • R = 0.99
    Correlation of functional marker subsets
  • R = 0.91
    Correlation of median fluorescence intensity

Post-fixation Stability: 1 Month

Fixed like fresh by spectral flow
Comparable population frequencies and protein expression levels between fresh and TokuKit-fixed blood samples.
  • R = 0.97
    Correlation of population frequencies
  • R = 0.91
    Correlation of functional marker subsets
  • R = 0.84
