TokuKit-fixed blood samples can be stored for at least 14 days in a fridge. This is designed to support global clinical trial sites that don't have access to -80C freezers.
Our data demonstrate that samples remain stable at 4C for at least 14 days. In this experiment, blood specimens from three technical replicates processed with Tokukits were analyzed with a 41-marker CyTOF panel. Results show a correlation (R = 0.996) between 4C and -80C after 14 days.
This offers flexibility for clinical sites without ultra-low temperature freezers, simplifying logistics for multi-site studies while maintaining sample integrity.
