Teiko Dashboard: Samples Overview Release

June 26, 2025

We’ve officially released a major upgrade to the Teiko Dashboard: Samples Overview

This update introduces the Key Metadata Distribution, Sample QC, and Gating Scheme Plots tabs - an all-in-one centralized view to help you navigate your cytometry data more efficiently.

Key Metadata Distribution

This tab provides a high-level overview of the study cohort, making it easy to interpret sample distribution across key clinical variables such as treatment status, timepoint, and response category.

Sample QC

The new Sample Quality Control (QC) page brings essential quality metrics and study metadata into one unified table. It’s designed to clearly display pass/fail criteria for each specimen, ensuring transparency for your cytometry data.

Key features include:

  • Unified Sample Overview: Replaces separate sample pages, providing a cohesive view of all sample information.
  • Smart Column Display: Key QC columns, such as live singlets acquired (≥50,000 events to pass) and overall QC status, are always visible. A metadata toggle lets you view QC results in context with clinical variables like response status, treatment timing, and patient characteristics.
  • Column-Level Filtering: Apply filters directly to any column, with controls for categorical, numeric, or text-based values.
  • Direct Sample-to-QC Plot Navigation: Clicking a sample in the table automatically scrolls to its associated plots (both immune cell population and functional marker gating plots), streamlining review.
  • Export Functionality: Use filters to isolate specific samples and download only the data you need.

This QC interface ensures analytical integrity by providing full transparency into sample-specific quality data, enabling more confident downstream cytometry data analysis.

Gating Scheme Plots

The new Gating Scheme Plots view enables sample-by-sample review of gating plots, providing clarity on how immune populations and functional markers are defined.

Key features:

  • Sequential gating review: Step through parent population gates followed by functional marker plots for each sample
  • Interactive navigation: Quickly scan across gating plots for each sample without combing through static PDFs.

This view allows you to verify gate placement and assess event distributions across both parent populations and functional markers. Whether you're reviewing samples with lower cell counts, comparing responders vs non-responders, or simply auditing gating consistency across a cohort, the interface brings greater visibility and confidence to cytometry data interpretation.

Samples Overview Workflow:

This integrated workflow addresses a key pain point: previously, reviewing sample QC metrics and gating strategies required combing through multiple PDF reports. Now, everything is centralized in the Dashboard, saving you and your team valuable time and allowing you to focus on scientific interpretation instead of manual data compilation.
